SPECIES OF SNAKES FOUND IN ASSAM

The word 'snake' frightens almost everyone. They're the most misunderstood creature. Approximately, 80% of the species of snakes in India are non-venomous. Even the venomous ones doesn't usually bite humans. They know that we are too big for it, so sometimes they give dry bites (bite without venom) just to scare us.
